This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

 Severe weather is possible this afternoon into this evening with
 damaging winds, large hail, and an isolated tornado the main
 threats.

 In addition, most of the area has received 2 to 5 inches of rain
 over the past two days so any heavy showers will have the potential
 to cause flash flooding as well as aggravate ongoing minor to
 moderate river flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

 Severe storms may be possible on Tuesday.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Kansas, including the following areas, Johnson
  KS, Leavenworth, Linn KS, Miami and Wyandotte and Missouri,
  including the following areas, Bates, Caldwell, Carroll, Cass,
  Chariton, Clay, Clinton, Cooper, Henry, Howard, Jackson, Johnson
  MO, Lafayette, Livingston, Pettis, Platte, Randolph, Ray and
  Saline.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more
  heavy rain.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood

Missouri...

  Crooked River near Richmond affecting Ray County.

  Lamine River near Otterville affecting Cooper County.

  Petite Saline Creek near Boonville affecting Cooper County.

  Wakenda Creek at Carrollton affecting Carroll County.

For the Crooked River...including Richmond...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

For the Lamine River...including Otterville...Minor flooding is
forecast.

For the Petite Saline Creek...including Boonville...Minor flooding
is forecast.

For the Wakenda Creek...including Carrollton...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Crooked River near Richmond.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Low-lying rural roads along with cropland
  and woodlands flood.
  At 21.0 feet, Water begins to overtop a gravel road about 1 mile
  south of the F and B Highway intersection.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early this morning to a crest of 25.2 feet this evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
